The International Child Art Foundation invites the Art e-Learning Center
to provide a unique learning experience to students and teachers through
the Japan Arts Olympiad, as part of the global 4th Arts Olympiad (2009-2012),
the world’s largest and most prestigious art and sport program for children.
●国際子どもアート財団は、アートeラーニングセンターを子どものための世界的な第4回アートオリンピック(2009-2012)ー最も大きくて最も名門の芸術とスポーツプログラムの部分としてー日本アートオリンピックを通して、ユニークな学習体験を学生と教師に提供するように誘致します。
The Arts Olympiad is a free global program of the International Child Art
Foundation (ICAF).
●芸術（アート）オリンピックは国際子ども財団(ICAF)の解放された世界的なプログラムです。
Commencing in classrooms with structured lesson plans, the Arts Olympiad
leads to school art competitions, and national celebrations of children’s
creativity and imagination.
●アートオリンピックは、組織されたレッスンプランと共に教室で始まって、学校アートコンテスト、および子どもの創造性と想像力に対する国家の祭典（祝賀）につながります。
The Japan Arts Olympiad winners will be honored at the World Children’s Festival to be held on the National Mall in Washington, DC in June 2011, and their artworks will also be exhibited in London in the summer of 2012 to celebrate the London 2012 Games.
●日本のアートオリンピックの勝者は、2011年6月ワシントン(DC)でナショナル・モールlで開催される、世界子どもフェティバル（World Children’s Festival ）で表彰されます。そして、作品は、2012年夏のロンドンオリンピック2012大会を祝うために、ロンドンでも展示されます。
The aim of the 4th Arts Olympiad is to promote the Olympic ideals of cross-cultural and inter-religious tolerance and cooperation.
●第4回アートオリンピックの目的は、異文化間と宗教間の寛容と協力のオリンピック理想を促進することです。
The Arts Olympiad Lesson Plan introduces to the students the “artist-athlete”
ideal of a creative mind and healthy body.
●アートオリンピックレッスンプランは創造的な精神と健康な身体の理想である、「芸術家兼運動選手（アーチストとともにアスリート）」を児童に伝えます。
Students produce paintings and digital art on the theme My Favorite Sport,
which encourages athletically inclined students to be creative and inspires
non-athletically inclined students to visualize their favorite sport and
engage in that physical activity, breaking stereotypes and promoting wellness.
●児童はテーマ「私の好きなスポーツ」で絵とデジタルアートで制作します。そして、それは運動が好きな子には創造的であることを奨励して、運動がきらいな子には、大好きなスポーツを思い浮かべさせ、運動に係わる気にさせます。そして、型にはまった観念をこわし、健康を増進します。
The Arts Olympiad is organized in about 100 countries through partners
that include ministries of education, cultural institutions and art organizations.
●アートオリンピックは教育省、文化的な団体、および芸術組織を含んでいるパートナーを通して約100の国で計画されます。
Nearly 3 million children participated in the 3rd Arts OIympiad.
●およそ300万人の子どもが第3回アートオリンピックに参加しました。
We estimate that approximately 5 million children in nearly 100 countries will participate in the 4th Arts Olympiad.

The Arts Olympiad sparks a global movement to advance children’s creative
development and encourage children to embrace lifelong creativity.
●アートオリンピックは、子どもたちの創造的な発展を促進して、子供たちが生涯に渡る創造性を抱くことを励ますために、世界的な運動を起こさせます。
The objectives of the Arts Olympiad are as follows:

・Place the nurturing of creativity on center stage for educators and policymakers

・Break stereotypes by promoting the “artist-athlete” ideal of a creative mind and healthy body .

・Reduce childhood obesity risks by inspiring non-athletically inclined children to visualize their favorite sport and engage in physical activity .

・Showcase children’s talents and creativity to boost their self-esteem and foster leadership development .
