MILWAUKEE ?Two on-duty Milwaukee firefighters were hit by a car Monday morning while shoveling snow in front of a fire department station, the Milwaukee Fire Department said in a press release.This happened around 7 a.m. at at the fire station on 9511 W. Appleton Ave. The driver left the road and hit the two firefighters and fire station. MFD said that the two firefighters were taken to Froedtert.
