Christmas holiday 4

31/12/04

My ex-class mate came to London yesterday. We wanted to watch Big Ben at just midnight, it means the biginning of the New Year. Although London was still Christmas, we ate Japanese noodle. It was the right way to spend a time on New Years Eve for Japanese, we thought.
However, we arrived near Big Ben too early time, there as an astonishing number of people. Fortunately we could keep a space beside the fence. And there were only cheerful family and a group of four women.
Big Ben rings every 15 minutes, and last one hour to New Year, the crowd cheered whenever it had rung. Of course we were shouting the countdown. Fire works blew up from from London eye too.
It was the most exciting night I've ever been. After the fire works, we couldn't move for long. So it took over 40 minutes to go back to the hotel.
