Walking, walking and walking
I went to Broadstairs on foot today. It was a second walking to Broadstairs.
Last time, I left home at nine o'clock. And I arrived there at over eleven.
That was because I took many pictures. I spent one and half hours on my
way home.
This time, I didn't take a picture, but I walked slouwly. And I ate
sandwiches, made by my host mother, at the sea side. That beach was right
beside Broadstairs Bay.
And when I got down stairs to the beach, I met a lady. She took her
dog, and I said hello to the dog. Then, she asked me "Did you come
from Japan?". She had been thinking about Tokyo just that tome. Both
of us were surprised. And also, she used to be a teacher in my school!!
If I had left home later or earlier, and if I walked more quickly, we couldn't
have met and talked. It was a interesting accident.
