CONCEPT

‘80年代末，メガバス初のインジェクションハードベイト第一号の生産が開始されました．その名は，「Bait-X」．シャローボトムで繰り広げた驚異のイレギュラーダート，リトリーブ中に遭遇するミッドストラクチャーを舐めまわすようにコンタクトしてしまうBait-Xの卓越したボトム・リップタッピングは，姿カタチはシャッドなれど，まるで底性甲殻類のエスケープアクションを彷彿させ，数々の素晴らしい釣果を残しました．そして，21世紀のサイバーなフィールドに，再びBait-Xコンセプトが蘇ります．グリフォンが，ストラクチャうー接触時にこれを「ひるがえしてかわす」ファーストムーバーであるのに対し，BAIT-Xは，あらゆるストラクチャーとの「濃密なコンタクト」によって，居着き型のランカーにスイッチを入れてしまう手軽な手段として，初代BAIT-X同様にリップタッピングクランクベイトとして破壊力を発揮．バスのコンディションがスローになるほど破壊力が増す，スロームービングコンタクトの最高傑作です．

The original Bait-X was the first plastic bait ever made by Megabass back in the 80s.  The key idea behind the Bait-X was on the contrary to the Griffons, to stick around the mid-range structures (and the bottoms as well) by tapping (knocking, pecking) them persistently, that is, to imitate crustaceans that are trying to escape from the predators along the structures.  The new Bait-X has been developed with this concept in its center, yet completely updated with the Moving Balancer System of Deep-X Series, the Patent-pending Water-intake Lip and Hydro-Diffusing Body.  When you target the fish that relate to structures such as ripraps and laydowns, ordinary crankbaits will move past the target zone too fast.  The Bait-X is designed to appeal to those sedentary bass that relate to the structures.
