レッスン概観Lesson Overview:森のスケッチをもとに、そこに棲む神を木版画で表しました。
生徒は森の神を敬います。

森林は、生き物を環境的に守るために重要です。
Forests are crucial in maintaining the environmental conditions that make life possible.
健康な森林は、清潔な水、純粋な空気、野生生物を確保するために重要です。

ア表したいことを表すために，形や色，材料などを生かし，それらの組合せの感じに関心をもち，美しさや用途などを考え，計画を立てるなど工夫して表すこと。
Encourage students to draw from and use their previous art experiences with various materials and tools to guide them as they work on their present art projects.

ア 自分たちの作品のよさや面白さなどについていろいろな表し方や材料による感じの違いなどが分かり，関心をもって見ること。
In looking at their own works, help the students to recognize the many differences in artistic expression and the diverse effects of using particular materials.

導入作品：森の神の木版画
Introducing the Work of Art
中心となる質問：「なぜ、森の中は涼しいのですか？」
Examples of Focus Questions:Why in the forest, is it cool?
1.宇喜田の森のスケッチgo sketcing in Ukita Woods
2.版木に森と森の神を描く。Imagine that the God were here.
Make a Xerox copy(s) of the rough draft and plan the colors; decide on 4 to 5 colors to use in the print. (one color will be the color of the paper and the others will be ink). Make a color rough draft.
3.油性のフェルトペンでなぞる。白と黒の計画を立てる。

4.版木の裏で、彫刻刀の練習をする。
5.面を彫る。
6.インクをつけて刷る。

J.支援・評価/Support，Evaluation Procedure:
両手で、版木を回しながら彫るように指導した。
版木の裏で、直線、曲線、面の順に彫りの練習をした。
○生徒は、環境彫刻、個人的な成長、レッスンの全体にわたって得られた知識および全面的な実行の成功および創造性で評価されるでしょう。
The students will be evaluated on the success and creativity of their wood block prints, personal growth, knowledge obtained throughout the lesson, and overall performance.
