It is a lighthouse standing in the west end of "Fukue" island.
This island is approximately 4 hours by a ferry from "Nagasaki"
port."Nagasaki" has the history that is the misfortune that "an atom bomb"
was dropped. The first generation was a lighthouse made with iron, and Lens was a 3rd order Fresnel.
In 1945, a lighthouse caught bombardment from a warship of an American submarine,
and a blow went through a roof of a lighthouse, but, as for the lens, it was not
damaged miraculously. The current lighthouse was rebuilt in circular concrete building in1971.
There is a church near.
