(1)自ら課題を見付け，自ら学び，自ら考え，主体的に判断し，よりよく問題を解決する資質や能力を育てること。
(2)学び方やものの考え方を身に付け，問題の解決や探究活動に主体的，創造的に取り組む態度を育て，自己の生き方を考えることができるようにすること。
The "Period for Integrated Study" aims at helping children develop capability and ability to discover problems by themselves and solve those problems properly.

2.生徒は牛乳キャップの目玉を持って，校内で新しい動物を探した。The student had a milk cap's eyeball and looked for the new animal in the school.

3.生徒は発見した１番のお気に入りを発表する。（他人と重ならないようにするため）
A student announces the discovered favorite of No. 1. (In order to make it not overlap with others)

4. 生徒はデジカメで自分の作品を撮影する。A student photos his own work by the digital camera.
　
5.写真をプリントアウトする。A photograph is printed out.
6.生徒は，自分の新種に合う額をつくり，プリントを貼る。A student builds the frame suitable for his new species, and sticks a print.
7.学校の中で見つけた，新種の動物の展覧会The exhibition of the animal of a new species found in the school
