自宅の屋上にタガメ飼育場を作りました。 東京の下町にありますが、できるだけ自然に近い環境(雨風にさらされ、日光にもあたり、冬は凍結する場所)で飼育することを基本としています。 果たして、これがタガメにとって良いかはわかりませんが・・・・・
(Farm of Kirkaldyia (=Lethocerus)
was built on the roof of my home, where was located in the downtown area
of Tokyo. It is a basis to breed with environment (exposed to the wind,
rain and sunlight and also water freezes in winter) which is as close as
possible to the nature. As expected, though I don't know whether this
is good for this species.)
