エサの与え方 (How to give food)

特にプレコ用にエサは与えておらず、他の混泳魚の残りを食べている。　ただし、よく食べるので糞や腹部の出具合を見て、ちゃんとエサが行き渡っているかを確認する。(I do not specially give food for plecostomus. This fish eats the rest of food which other fish are eating.　Check excrement and condition of an abdominal extension whether the fish eats food well and food spreads neatly in a tank.)　

混泳 (Keeping with other fishes)

夜行性で、ガーパイク等の体表をなめるので、これらの魚とは混泳は避けたほうが良い。(As this fish is nocturnal and licks the body surface of other fish, do not keep with gar.)

飼育上の留意点 (A notice point in breeding)

非常に丈夫で、飼いやすい。大食漢なので、エサが十分行き渡っているかを常に注意する。(This fish is very strong and easy to keep. Since this fish is a glutton, it is always careful in whether food spreads fully in a tank.)
