エサの与え方 (How to give food)

何でもよく食べ、飼いやすい魚である。　我が家の日常管理としては、コイのエサと煮干しをメインに与えている。(This fish eats anything well, and it is the fish which is easy to keep.　Carp food and dried small sardine are being given as a daily treat in my house.)

混泳 (Keeping with other fishes)

アロワナ、ダトニオ、キャットフィッシュ等の大型魚と混泳可能です。　ただし、あまり大きすぎる魚といっしょにすると食われてしまうので注意する。(This fish can keep with the large fish such as arowana, Siam tiger fish and catfish etc.　But, be careful because this fish may be eaten by too big fish.)

飼育上の留意点 (A notice point in breeding)

比較的丈夫で、飼いやすい。　また、人にもよく慣れる。(This fish is comparatively strong and easy to keep. And, also it gets accustomed to the person.)
