エサの種類 (Food)

煮干し (Dried small sardine)

エサの与え方 (How to give food)

警戒心が強く、すぐ物陰に隠れてしまう。慣れるとよってくるようになるので、辛抱強く世話をしたい。我が家の日常管理としては、煮干しをメインに、時々生餌(エサ金)を与えている。(Though this fish is very nervous, it will gradually come to get accustomed to human. Dried small sardine is being given as a daily treat in my house.)

混泳 (Keeping with other fishes)

アロワナ、キャットフィッシュ等の大型魚と混泳可能です。ただし、同種と混泳すると激しく争うので、避けた方が無難である。(It can keep with the large fish such as arowana, catfish etc. But they will attack each other in the same species.)

飼育上の留意点 (A notice point in breeding)

他の大型魚と比較すると成長が遅いので、ある程度成長するまでは単独飼育が好ましい。(Because this fish grows relatively slow, it had better keep single in a tank.)
